The #1 on-demand full service travel agency, Expedia Corporate Travel is a worldwide travel agency with more than 3000 global clients. ECT is a subsidiary of Expedia, Inc. which sold $13.2 billion (USD) in travel in 2004 and handles more than 70 million visitors each month.

Expedia Corporate Travel had previously struggled with their event management platform. They experienced poor customer service and very limited flexibility using an outsourced product. Their frustration with that solution lead them on an exhaustive review of all of the other options available for managing their complex Meetings and Travel needs.

SignUp4 was selected from the crowded field of competitors based on service, integration, ease of use, and branding options. SignUp4 allows ECT to fully brand and distribute our Strategic Meeting Management solution integrated with their award winning full service travel services to their clients.

U.S. Bancorp operates more than 2,200 locations in some two dozen Midwestern and Western states, along with nearly 4,500 branded ATMs. The bank holding company, one of the ten-largest in the country, owns U.S. Bank and other subsidiaries that provide consumer and commercial banking, as well as mortgage banking, international banking, consumer finance, equipment lease financing, and title and business insurance.

Before SignUp4, US Bank was relying upon localized processes for managing both internal and external events for the company. Many of these processes were manual and there was no standardization for data collection; communication or reporting for over 30 planners and managers throughout the company across multiple divisions and across the US.

With SignUp4, US Bank now has a standardized platform from which to conduct all meeting and event planning and management functions for the company. They are leveraging the aggregate reporting to manage data across departments and planners. Additionally, the product can grow and accommodate changes and additions as required necessitated by US Bank's growth strategy via acquisition.


CoreNet Global is the world's premier association for corporate real estate and related professionals. CoreNet provides leadership and training events to thousands of members and guests at locations across the globe. CoreNet previously used a combination of telephone, mail and fax registration to manage the thousands of attendees at each one of their events and to make hotel reservations at multiple hotels. The process was very time consuming to execute and relevant information was difficult or impossible to gather.

Using the SignUp4 hotel management utilities in combination with the Passkey Hotel reservation system, the registration and reservation process is handled completely by the attendees while they sign up for their events. Block inventories are tracked in real time, allowing the attendees to choose from only the available rooms in the block.

The solution has two primary benefits. The combined registration and housing solution eases attrition concerns and allows detailed, real-time reports about the status of registrations and room reservations for event managers. Event attendees can seamlessly register and get hotel reservations near the event without needing to visit a second web site.
