No. If your computer has Internet access and Internet Explorer or Netscape Browser version 4.0 or higher that's all you need.

What is Section 508 compliance?
Section 508 is an amendment to the Americans with Disabilities Act passed in 1998 covering two key issues. The first is that when federal agencies "develop, procure, maintain, or use electronic and information technology" this technology must be accessible to federal employees with disabilities. The second is that members of the public who have disabilities must be able to gain access to the information or services offered by each agency. This amendment covers all "electronic and information technology", Section 508 may mean that federally run sites must be designed according to accessibility guidelines.
SignUp4 follows the World Wide Web Consortium guidelines for web content accessibility in all of our web sites and software. We will continue to work with this emerging standard to insure universal access for our clients and their end users to all SignUp4 services.
Do I need an event web site?
No. The Event Management System™ allows you to create and manage your entire event web site through an easy to use control panel. If you already have a web site and just want to add registration, we can also link the EMS into your existing web site for instant online registration, payment processing, reporting, and communications.
Can I help design the look?
You can choose from our templates, then add your own colors, images and text to make the site look like you want. We also offer web design services for creating an exact replica of your existing web site or a new original design just for your event.
Can I design custom reports?
Yes. There are already many multi-use online reports available including: check-in lists, survey results, participant roster, name badges, and more. The existing reporting options allow you to choose the fields displayed and the sorting options. We can design customized reports to meet your needs.
Can I put advertisements on my site?
Yes. Event registration software costs can be greatly reduced through the sale of related inline advertisements and promotional specials connected to the event. SignUp4 will work with you and your sponsors to help determine the best method for including advertiser content.
Are there costs per registrant or a flat monthly fee?
SignUp4 charges a flat monthly fee. Easy to budget, easy to understand, and very cost effective!
When I call your Client Services Department for support will I be talking to someone in the United States?
Yes!! All support calls are handled internally at our Atlanta office by seasoned professionals. Our client services surveys are consistently above 90% and our client retention rate is over 95% speaking to the quality of the services provided by our support team.

Does your software have a mechanism that will help me identify and track the costs of my meetings, negotiate my contracts with vendors, and manage my meetings to make sure they are approved by management and comply with corporate policy (including Travel)?
SignUp4’s SMS (Spend Management System) will allow you to do all of these things and more! You start by establishing and setting up a meeting request form that will allow you to gain information about the meeting in an electronic format. It will keep you with in the parameters of your meeting and travel policies. (Don’t worry, if you don’t have one we can help.) This will allow everyone that request a meeting to fill out a form and send it through approval stages, assign it to a meeting planner, track budgets, and give you the negotiating tools you need to decrease your costs. Most importantly, you can export this data for your accounting department which minimizes duplication in labor efforts and errors in reporting.
Do you have any Travel Management tools?
Yes, SignUp4 has the TMS (Travel Management System) which allows you to integrate with your GDS provider. This integration allows you to pull real time manifest reports, identify who has registered but not booked travel, determine who is complying with corporate travel policy, and integrate all air data with the registration data (see who signed up for the golf tournament on Monday but is not arriving until Tuesday).
